IGYLF (Indo-German Young Leaders Forum-2018)

The 2018 flagship conference of the Indo-German Young Leaders Forum took place from 22nd to 25th February in New Delhi.

50 selected ‘Young Leaders’ representing their companies, from both countries this year again discussed topics which address the most pressing issues of today with a host of high-profile guest speakers during panel discussions, and workshops and informal networking sessions.

ALTA META was represented by Tarun Paliwal, Managing Director, India to receive the Award Certificate for IGYLF (Indo-German Young Leader Forum 2018), which was held in New Delhi in 2018.

The IGYLF Flagship conference 2018 started with a visit to the Indian Parliament and a meeting with the Hon’ble Speaker of Lok Sabha, Mrs. Sumitra Mahajan.

Throughout the conference, renowned guests such as Amitabh Kant, CEO of NITI Aayog, Kailash Gahlot, Minister for Transport, Information and Technology and C.R. Chaudhary, Minister of State for Consumer Affairs followed the invitation to meet our participants and show their support of our young initiative.

The following days were filled with sessions on topics such as “Healthcare”, “Urban mobility”, “Vocational Education and Training”, “Industry 4.0” and “India and Germany as regional powers in the new global multilateral order”.  One of the highlights was the dinner reception at the Embassy of Germany hosted by the German Ambassador, Dr. Martin Ney.
